Instead of ebay taking 100% of the selling fee profits, ScottyDo splits the profits with our members, and offers a way for our members to buy Medical & Dental insurance, which we offer at the lowest available rates by law.

If you recruit 10 referrals, and each one of them recruits another 10 referrals each, that's 110 referrals that you will be earning sales commissions & credits from. There is no limit to how many people you can recruit, and you will get an equal share of the selling fees they pay to the auction when they list items.

By joining forces and working together as a Co-op, our members, who are the real experts, can split the profits, since you each will have a stake in the business, and get paid for passing on your knowledge to others and promoting the site.

In order to provide a safe trading auction, and to prevent fraud and scams, and to further discourage dishonest sellers from using this site, we have a Recommended BUYING & SELLING POLICY:

We recommend you consider using PayPal to handle the transactions, along with a Credit Card. If you don't recieve an item or it's not in the condition advertised, and the seller is not cooperative, then PayPal or your credit card company can resolve the dispute and protect your money. The credit card company will typically credit the money back to your account, and contact the seller to resolve the transaction. This is the only way to get your money back in cases of dishonest people.
Buyers/sellers should also consider using an escrow service to protect the integrity of the transaction (so buyer and seller both receive what was promised). An example of this is where the seller uses a company like Escrow.com and the buyer sends their money to Escrow.com They advise the seller to ship the item to the buyer, and when the buyer recieves the item and is satisfied, they advise Escrow.com to pay the seller (called releasing the funds).
Sellers should ship items using services that provide a tracking number as proof that the buyer received the item, and buyers should ask for the tracking number as proof that the seller shipped it.
